Outreach Program

The objective of the Outreach Program is to promote environmental education, regional ecosystem awareness, and community-based land stewardship throughout California's Central Valley. To date, the majority of our outreach efforts have been associated with various aspects of the Land Retirement Demonstration Project. However, ESRP biologists also work on numerous restoration and wildlife monitoring projects in the Central Valley, and there is also the potential for volunteers to participate on these projects.

Through our Outreach Program, we offer individual and group opportunities to join program biologists in the field for various studies and restoration projects. We also offer natural science programs and activities which may be taught at your site.

The opportunities we offer are open to many age, ability, and experience levels. Our programs can be used to fill school or business community service hour requirements.

Please contact the Outreach Coordinator, for further information and to discuss programming that best suits your needs.
